Dear Neighbor - Our mission is to help our elderly, widowed, disabled, veterans, and single family homeowner / neighbors that need repairs of various kinds but are just not able, or can not afford the expense to do it themselves. If you qualify (as outlined above) we would love to help if we can. Feel free to complete the application attached, mail it to us, and the process of review and consideration by our Board and committee members will begin. Mission Devine was organized by the Devine Ministerial Fellowship and is an ecumenical Christian organization that strives to show God’s love by providing home improvements in a loving and compassionate way for those less fortunate in our community. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin. Please understand - Projects can only be approved as funding and volunteer crews are available – applications will be considered based on the applicant’s need and our available resources. Any and all work will be performed during our annual work week in June. Although we would love nothing more than to be able to help a larger community, we are restricted by geography and primarily do home repairs in and around the Devine and Natalia Texas school districts. In His Name, Mission Devine

How much will I pay for your services?

There are no fees to the homeowner for our services. All of the work will be done at no cost.

What will be done to my home?

This will depend on the homeowners needs and the abilities of the volunteers. Our Goal is to ensure your home provides a safe and warm environment. Work might include painting, carpentry, weatherization, window replacement, furnace or hot water heater installation, fixing leaky roofs, electrical and plumbing repairs, wheel chair ramps and more.

Who does the work on my home?

All work on your home is done by volunteers from throughout the Devine area. Of course, any assistance you, your family or friends can offer is always appreciated.

When will the work be done?

Next Mission Devine week will be June 11 thru 16, 2018. Any repairs received will be done during this week.

When will I find out if I’m part of the 2018 program?

Upon approval, your home will be available for adoption. If your home is selected by a team, a volunteer Project Leader will contact you to discuss your need in the spring or early summer of 2018.  If for some reason your application is not approved, a letter will be sent to you.
